this past weekend was our anniversary dinner. we had to postpone it because we had a bunch of prior committments the weekend of our anniversary and then norwalk fucked us up the following weekend. i got all decked out (and by that, i mean i wore something other than jeans), we headed downtown and acted like classy, sophisticated people for a few hours.
i wish i could post all of the pictures of the incredible food that we stuffed into our faces but 1) this place is not the place to whip out your phone and take photos of food because classy and 2) the food was too good and i was too excited to shovel it into my piehole so pictures could go fuck itself last night #sorrynotsorry. however, you can click here to take a look at their gallery of amazing food and dining area.
take it from me - that place is clearly rated #1 in toronto for a damn good reason. everything we ate was amazing and when we got the bill, i didn't even flinch that it cost over $200 because it was SO WORTH IT.
the only food pic i managed to capture was this:
a suprise little treat, courtesy of the restaurant.
but on to the real reason for this post -- guys, do you realize we're pretty much at the end of september? wtf, why is time flying so fast? we only have a few more months left of 2014, so here are a few things i'm looking forward to in the coming months before 2015 hits:
:: our big disney trip in october!
:: watching new seasons of: hannibal, bates motel, banshee.
:: the pain in my ass project that has shit all over my life since may IS FINALLY DEPLOYING IN NOVEMBER.
:: taking all of december and january off from work.
:: getting back into blogging - it's been long enough, right?
:: revamping my workout routine because i need to pump up the jam.
:: buying, and rocking, these:
sam edelman darwin combat boots. retail is $225 but ain't nobody got time for that price. will be hunting for these on the cheap in Orlando. damn you, canadian prices.
:: our new once-a-month-fancy-dinner-date dates. during our anniversary dinner, we reazlied that we're too young to be so lame so we decided that once a month, we would go all out on a dinner date. we'd take turns picking the restaurant and then stuffing our foodholes full of good food, cocktails and enjoy a night out. sorry kayla, we love you and all but mommy and daddy need to get our groove back.
what are you looking forward to in the coming weeks or months?
